Hardy visitors

Despite the foul weather on Sunday, 29 January, our volunteers recorded around 36 visitors to the Folly.

The day kicked off with the arrival of a couple from Dorset, dressed appropriately for the weather; then a large group of 25. Other visitors appeared from time to time. Faced with continuing rain, low temperatures and poor visibility from the top of the tower, our volunteers closed the door on the Folly a little earlier than scheduled to retreat to the warmth of a car! Thanks to them and to the equally hardy visitors.
